Guauly is a community platform that connects dog owners with people who love dogs. Owners publish their dog's profile and sitters create theirs, then you connect through messaging to arrange walks, visits, or care. Joining, browsing and messaging are free. Care can be neighbourly and unpaid, or you can book a verified pro sitter for a fee when you need someone fast.

Joining Guauly, listing your dog, browsing profiles and messaging are free, with no sign-up fee. Care from a community sitter is unpaid. If you book a paid pro sitter, they set a rate you see upfront and pay — Guauly's service fee comes out of the sitter's payout, not on top of what you pay.

With Guauly you get both in one place. Many sitters are neighbours and dog lovers who help for free because they enjoy it. When you need someone fast or professional, you can also book a verified pro sitter who charges for their time and is paid securely through the platform. You choose which fits.

Partly. Any sitter can verify their identity: they photograph their ID document and take a selfie, and our verification provider checks that the document is genuine and that the face matches. Verified sitters show an "ID verified" badge, and you can search for verified sitters only. Guauly does not run background or reference checks. All sitters create detailed profiles with a photo, description, and experience with dogs, and you can review the full profile before connecting. All initial communication also happens through our integrated messaging, so you can get to know each other before sharing personal details.

We recommend always meeting in person first and starting with brief encounters before leaving your dog in extended care. If you experience any problem, you can report any user from their profile. Our team reviews all reports.

Your personal information is only shared when you accept a connection request. Before that, all communication happens privately within our platform.

Create a free account, access the dashboard and add your dog's profile. Include photos, breed, age, temperament, and any relevant details. Once listed, sitters in your area will be able to find you.

You can arrange one-off walks, home visits, daytime care, or any arrangement that works for both of you. There are no fixed formats — each connection is unique.

Always. You control who sees your dog, you decide who to connect with, and you approve every care arrangement. A sitter is never automatically assigned.

Create a free account and complete your sitter profile: add a photo, describe your experience with dogs, your availability, and the care you can offer. You can join as a Personal sitter (unpaid, for the love of dogs) or as a Pro sitter (paid, with a rate you set and payouts through the platform). Dog owners in your area will then find you and send requests.

Responsibility, care, and communication are expected. Be on time, follow the owner's instructions about the dog, and stay in contact during care. It's a relationship of trust — the dog's wellbeing comes first.

It's not essential, but we recommend being honest about your experience level in your profile. Owners value honesty above all. Many sitters start without prior experience and build trust over time.
